Reese loves buying James a swim suit for any major holiday.
This year, when picking out his swimsuit for Father's Day, she told many people that she was getting Daddy a new swimsuit since he outgrew his from the years before...
Too funny.

NO MORE DIAPERS!!!
It is official, Will finally pooped in the toilet! June 12th will go down in history!!! Will opened his new cars and is so excited. Unfortunately, one step forward, two steps back...Will go the stomach flu so reverted back to diapers while dealing with spontaneous bowel movements. But on Saturday evening, he realized he could get new cars again for pooping in the toilet. I bought four new silver Car's cars, thinking they would last four days...instead, he forced himself to poop four separate times in the toilet so he could open all of them! He outsmarted me! But I just think of it a building muscle memory! :) Yeah!!!! No More Diapers!!!

Baby Got Back!
So at Reese's dance recital this weekend, Emma loved to dance to any and all wrap music! She was waving her arms and bouncing her legs. It was too cute...
Birthday crown
Reese made her cousin B a beautiful crown for her birthday but forgot hers at home. This is what she made instead.

Morning checklist
Will's goodbye checklist makes my day...
Will: Mommy, I need hug, kiss, say 'love you', and fireworks.
He remembers every morning and makes my heart melt every time.

Tyrannical Emma
My favorite quote from a doctor recently occurred at Emma's 6 month check up my her pediatrician...when describing her challenging eating patterns at daycare-the doctor said, "breast fed babies can be tyrannical." That described my Emma Rose perfectly. Happy and tyrannical.

Tacos and Fruit
For the past year, everyday for lunch Will says he has eaten 'TACOS AND FRUIT'. You would think he has latino heritage...

Daddy's Little Girl
This morning Reese was having a moment and did not want to go to school. In her tantrum, she cried, "School makes me pissed off." I stopped and told Reese to repeat what she just said. She looked at me and said, "School makes me pissed off." I corrected her and told her to use better words like angry, tired, or mad.
Knowing exactly where those words came from, I called her father and told him what Reese said. His response, "Well, she used it wrong-I say, 'that's pissing me off.'" Great.
Like Father, Like Daughter.

Song Bird...
I have a lovely song bird in my bedroom.
She likes to coo and sing at 3:30am, and had done so for the past two weeks.
I love the smiles and the joy Emma brings to my early morning-but find myself torn with my need for sleep.
I guess I can sleep later.
For now I will enjoy the songs sung to me, as I am sure they will end as soon as I hope for them.
My song bird is almost 6 months already...time IS flying by.

Mommy, You are a good Mommy.
Reese has a baby doll named Emma. She cares for her Emma baby as I care for my Emma baby. She changes her Emma's diaper, dresses her, takes her to the doctor, and even gets babysitters for her.
The other day, she was at a birthday party and asked if I could watch her Emma. I did so. When I picked her up, I brought her Emma with me. Our conversation went like this;
Me: Reese-your Emma was a very good baby.
Reese: Mommy, Please tell me all the things she did today while I was gone.
Me: She took a nap, she ate her bottle, she was a little fussy, so we changed her diaper.
Reese: Mommy, you are a good Mommy.
She made my heart melt.

Silent William
Will still enjoys his binky. It drives me nuts, but we are also still working on pooping in the toilet..
Will knows he is not to speak with his binky in his mouth, he is often told, "Will-take your binky out, we can't understand you."
The other day, I was asking Will a question, and he turned to me-took is binky out-and said, "I can't talk, I have my binky in my mouth." Placed it back in his mouth and went on his way.
What a stinker!
