Daddy's Little Girl
This morning Reese was having a moment and did not want to go to school. In her tantrum, she cried, "School makes me pissed off." I stopped and told Reese to repeat what she just said. She looked at me and said, "School makes me pissed off." I corrected her and told her to use better words like angry, tired, or mad.
Knowing exactly where those words came from, I called her father and told him what Reese said. His response, "Well, she used it wrong-I say, 'that's pissing me off.'" Great.
Like Father, Like Daughter.

Song Bird...
I have a lovely song bird in my bedroom.
She likes to coo and sing at 3:30am, and had done so for the past two weeks.
I love the smiles and the joy Emma brings to my early morning-but find myself torn with my need for sleep.
I guess I can sleep later.
For now I will enjoy the songs sung to me, as I am sure they will end as soon as I hope for them.
My song bird is almost 6 months already...time IS flying by.

Mommy, You are a good Mommy.
Reese has a baby doll named Emma. She cares for her Emma baby as I care for my Emma baby. She changes her Emma's diaper, dresses her, takes her to the doctor, and even gets babysitters for her.
The other day, she was at a birthday party and asked if I could watch her Emma. I did so. When I picked her up, I brought her Emma with me. Our conversation went like this;
Me: Reese-your Emma was a very good baby.
Reese: Mommy, Please tell me all the things she did today while I was gone.
Me: She took a nap, she ate her bottle, she was a little fussy, so we changed her diaper.
Reese: Mommy, you are a good Mommy.
She made my heart melt.

Silent William
Will still enjoys his binky. It drives me nuts, but we are also still working on pooping in the toilet..
Will knows he is not to speak with his binky in his mouth, he is often told, "Will-take your binky out, we can't understand you."
The other day, I was asking Will a question, and he turned to me-took is binky out-and said, "I can't talk, I have my binky in my mouth." Placed it back in his mouth and went on his way.
What a stinker!
